How it works

Learn by playing and for life, in a safe, welcoming and child-centered environment. Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that allows them to perform to their fullest potential. Children develop rapidly in the first years of life, and the experiences they live through to the age of 5 are essential for academic, professional and emotional success. The Maple Bear Early Childhood Education Program is based on current Canadian education practices and is designed to educate the child as a whole – physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Maple Bear is a safe environment where risk taking is encouraged and where students see themselves as capable and competent learners. Passion for learning.

Active learning

The Maple Bear Early Childhood Education Program uses learning spaces where individual activities are carried out and in small or large groups. A wide variety of learning centers are available to meet children’s diverse needs, interests, learning styles and developmental stages. Students learn by doing, playing, exploring, testing hypotheses and making mistakes. Protagonists of their own discoveries.

Planning activities

The topics presented to children are thematic and combine knowledge and skills related to language, mathematics, science, information technology, social studies, music and the arts. Encourages autonomy, creativity, imagination and self-expression. There are eight areas of development that are fundamental to our Early Childhood Education programs. These areas are covered daily through careful planning developed by Maple Bear teachers and expertly designed Canadian programs.
